This is a place where families can explore 21 acres of rivers, forests, and gardens. There is a large wild swimming and boating lake complete with rowing boats, communal campfires, and stunning gardens. It’s the perfect playground for unleashing the imagination and letting the inner child run wild and free!

Part of the barn has been converted into a library where guests can read, research, and relax. There are a wealth of amazing facilities to enjoy, including the brand-new West Lexham Garden Kitchen where all the food is organically supplied by the Kitchen Garden.

The beautiful onsite lake is fed by a chalk stream and makes the ideal setting for a lazy row in the boats or some wildlife spotting. It’s also perfect for wild swimming, which is a unique and wonderful experience. The lake is open year-round, so visitors can enjoy it throughout the seasons. The outdoor pool is naturally filtered, meaning it is free of any harsh chemicals. It is heated by the biomass boiler, making it even more eco-friendly. The pool is open seasonally (April until September), so visitors can enjoy a swim under the sky when they can!

Visitors can spend their evening underneath the stars, toasting marshmallows, and meeting like-minded guests around the fire pits. If they’re looking for a restful space, they can head to the Sanctuary Garden located across the lake. It’s a perfect place for meditation or yoga, with plenty of seating, beautiful streams, and stone dragons. Visitors can also explore the 22 acres of land, full of wildlife and foliage. The lawn is the perfect space to play games or have picnics, or they can head across the river and get lost in amongst the trees.
